Getting started

Get the Run This apps

Run This lives on the web at runthis.run and in a native app for iPhone and Android. There are also two small companion apps built for race-day crews.

The Run This app

The Run This app puts the platform in your pocket: browse and register for races, see your race calendar, follow the feed of what your friends and clubs are up to, keep up with your clubs and communities, and get chats and notifications as push notifications on your phone. Race directors can manage their events from the app too.

Or search “Run This” in either store.

One account everywhere

The website and the app share a single Run This account. Sign in with the same email (or Google / Apple sign-in) on both, and your registrations, bookmarks, calendar, and messages stay in sync — anything you do in one place shows up in the other.

The race-crew apps

Two smaller apps exist for people working a race, not running it. Directors and their volunteers use them on race day; athletes never need them.

  • Race Check In — the packet-pickup and check-in tool. Volunteers enter the event's private code (no login needed), then search the roster or scan athletes' QR passes to mark them checked in. See Race-day check-in.
  • Run This Stopwatch — a shared race-day timer. Crew members enter the event's code, pick a checkpoint, and tap to record runners as they cross; multiple phones share one synchronized clock.

Find both by searching their names in the App Store or Google Play.

The crew tools also work in any browser

Both apps are thin wrappers around live Run This pages, so the same tools run in any phone browser — check-in at runthis.run/check-in and the stopwatch at runthis.run/stopwatch. If a crew app isn't available in your store yet, the browser version is identical.
