Experience one of South Lake County's most iconic running destinations! The Clermont Clay Races offer a unique combination of beautiful clay roads, scenic rolling hills, and a challenging yet rewarding course. Whether you're running for a personal best, training for a winter race, or simply enjoying the experience with friends, there's something special about running on the clay!
This will be our last Clermont Clay Races for a while! As the surrounding area continues to grow, we'll be taking a break to reimagine the event and adapt to the changes in the coming years. We hope you'll join us for this special edition!

📍 Course Information & Race Schedule
Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026
Location: 5 Mile Road, Clermont, Florida
Distances & Start Times:
15K (9.3 miles): 7:30 AM 5K (3.1 miles): 7:35 AM Both distances feature an out-and-back course with a shared start and finish on the clay road. The routes have been adjusted due to construction on Schofield Road.
15K Time Limit: Participants must complete the course within 2.5 hours, maintaining approximately a 16-minute-per-mile pace.
Course Conditions & Training Clay Road Preparation: FloDash Events will have the clay road graded prior to race day to provide the best possible running surface. As with any natural clay course, conditions may vary depending on the weather.

Training Parking: If you're visiting the course before race day, we recommend parking only along 5 Mile Road due to ongoing development. Please park safely without blocking traffic or access.
Race-Day Parking & Directions: The venue and access routes have changed from previous years. Please review the official parking and driving directions map below before arriving. Do not rely on previous years' parking locations.
🏆 Awards & Results Our beautiful awards, presented by LiveTrends Design Group, are more than traditional trophies. These unique living art pieces combine nature and design to celebrate your achievement!
Awards will be presented to male and female participants in both distances:
Top 3 Overall 1st Place Masters Top 3 in each 10-year age group 15K Grand Masters Award Age Groups:
5K begins with ages 9 & under. 15K begins with ages 19 & under. Awards Ceremony: Begins at approximately 8:35 AM with the 5K awards, followed by the 15K.
Results will be available online after the event. Awards must be collected during the ceremony and will not be held or shipped after race day.

Race-Day Packet Pickup: 6:00 AM – 7:15 AM at the race venue.
A friend or family member may pick up your packet, but they MUST present your registration QR code, which is included in your confirmation email. This helps us distribute packets accurately.
Packets not collected by race morning will not be held.
Virtual Participants Virtual race packets will automatically ship within two weeks after the event and will include a paper bib or digital bib by email.
Shipping is available within the United States only.

💧 Aid Stations & Course Support Aid stations will be located at approximately miles 1.5, 3, and 4.6. Because the course is out-and-back, 15K participants will have up to five hydration opportunities.
Stations will offer a combination of water, electrolytes, and energy gels. Additional details will be provided closer to race day.
Please carry any personal hydration or nutrition you may need.
Help us keep the clay beautiful! Do not leave gel wrappers, bottles, or other trash on the course. Trash cans will be available at aid stations.
⚠️ Race Safety & Participation Rules All participants must be registered and wear their assigned race bib. This includes anyone pacing a friend, family member, or child. Unregistered runners are not permitted on the course.

Strollers: Jogging strollers are permitted but must start at the very back of the field. Please remember this is an off-road clay course with hills and uneven surfaces, which may make stroller use challenging. If you are new to this venue we suggest you going out there to preview it first.
Dogs: Due to insurance and liability, pets are not permitted on the course. Service dogs are welcome; please notify us in advance at flodashevents@gmail.com and line up toward the back of the field.
Wheels: Bicycles, skateboards, and unauthorized motorized vehicles are not permitted on the race course.
