Our walk will be on April 25, 2027 at the National Mall in DC starting at the Lincoln Memorial. Our Virtual walk option gives our participants flexibility in that you can walk some or all of your committed miles virtually. If you want to help out and don't want to walk... you can do that too. Any donations help.
We are pleased to announce that our Presenting Sponsors this year will be the American Gas Association (AGA) and Washington Gas Light Company (WGL). Walk for Warriors is honored to be a part of "AGA's Giving Back" event that will be hosted Sunday night as part of their Spring Biennial Conference and Committee Meetings. We are extending the walk to April 30th to not exclude anyone that may hear of the event Sunday evening and want to participate.
Our set up this year will allow our participants to accomplish their committed miles over the period of April 18th through April 30th. We hope that you can join us for your final push or for your entire commitment at the National Mall but we hope that while you are there, you spend some time around the numerous memorials along the route and take some time of remembrance for the many sacrifices that were made to make this Nation great and show support for the countless veterans we have.
If you can join us physically, the DC walk will start at the Lincoln Memorial and follow the multi purpose trails to the Nation's Capital and back. Each lap is a 5 mile trek.
